Unfortunately, our planned sports festival was cancelled today due to the rain. So we turned our thoughts to 'The Wreck of the Zanzibar' and the story so far.
What has been your favourite part of Laura's diary so far?

Hi! These are TOTALLY amazing!!!! I love the way you have mixed them all up to fit them in! My favourite part is everything but a few parts;
When Billy ran away because I liked Billy and thought him kind an caring, but it turns out he argues and ran away with Joseph Hannibal. In addition to this, I don't know what Billy sees in Joseph Hannibal, he just came and made things harder for everyone. Laura doesn't seem to like him as much as me. Please keep reading Wreck of the Zanzibar. It's great so far!!

Amie, I'm really pleased to see you are adding detailed comments to our class blog! It's great to see.
Can you be careful to make sure you are adding then the the right place. This post may have been best under the poem you were responding to. Also, your times tables comment would be great in one of the grid method videos as understands times tables is really important to that.
I look forward to reading some more from you.

Our September topic will be 'The Normans', looking at the history of the Norman periods and what we can learn about that time period using primary and secondary sources.
Our literacy will be based on the book 'Goodnight Mr Tom' by Michelle Magorian which takes place during the Second World War.
