WOW! Mathletics Brilliance in Year 5!

As Wednesday's Mathletics efforts come to an end, we will have completed 3 out of 7 of the week's challenge days.

I am shocked and thrilled to announce that we currently have 4 children with over 10,000 points (that's around 1,000 correct answers each!!)

To put that into perspective, 4 of you have earned more points than Mrs Davis' entire class so far!

There are also lots and lots of you, adding your own scores, making our team effort a superb one!

Can you keep it up? I'm really looking forward to seeing our final scores and who the overall champion will be! I will have to get a few extra prizes as I am extremely impressed!

Keep up the hard work Year 5!

Not sure that Mrs Davis will be impressed by the way Mr Patterson has put your amazing achievement into perspective but that is amazing!!! I was checking tonight to see how you were doing - 5th in the world I think - in the world!!! Great job - clearly some great answers!! Can you do even better?

Year 5 did really well and so did all the classes especially Mrs Davis and Miss Wilks class.

Mathletics week rocks- IT ROCKS! I am so tired now because of all the work we had to do. My eyes are sore and stinging from looking at iPads and computers almost all day everyday.

Math sounds so awesome. Do you like math? My strongest subject in school after PE is probably math. The 4 children who have 10,000 points, that's pretty amazing. I wish we had something like that at our school.

You must be doing really well in math! Have you ever heard of Math Olympiads? It's a really popular math competition. You should try it, since you're so good with math.
