What great swimmers we have - Mrs Ovington and Mrs Batty told me that you ALL did so well. Really swam as fast as you could. Terrific experience and great to take part. Well done everyone.

What a fantastic morning we had watching and cheering our team on. We had some very tense moments, not knowing whether we would win or lose, and the atmosphere was amazing.
Well done team Tanfield Lea you were all superstars.

Our September topic will be 'The Normans', looking at the history of the Norman periods and what we can learn about that time period using primary and secondary sources.
Our literacy will be based on the book 'Goodnight Mr Tom' by Michelle Magorian which takes place during the Second World War.
