This morning, Year 5 (with the help of some of their parents) created their entries into the egg decorating competition. There were some very colourful entries and as you can see lots a different ideas.
I wonder who the winner will be?

I think all your eggs are very colorful and creative. Your blog reminds me of all the fun time I had on Easter during the egg hunt. I wish I can decorate eggs too.

I can tell your class spent a lot of time decorating those colorful and brilliant pieces of artwork. This reminds me of the time when I decorated Easter eggs with my friends. I really loved Sophie's Easter bunnies, the two baby chicks and the little egg.
I did like everyone elses but I liked hers more!

Our September topic will be 'The Normans', looking at the history of the Norman periods and what we can learn about that time period using primary and secondary sources.
Our literacy will be based on the book 'Goodnight Mr Tom' by Michelle Magorian which takes place during the Second World War.
